The Secret is Out

Santa apparently told the girls that they are getting a brother for Christmas. I don’t think they are pleased.

We started as your modern fairytale.

And then life happened - Infertility. IVF. Adoption.

This is the story of what happens after. Sometimes you have to fight to get your happy ending. Sometimes babies come to you after shots and hormones and loss. Sometimes they come to you as a gift from another.

And sometimes, the ending isn't really happily ever after. In this case, the heroine to this story is diagnosed with cancer just 10 months after adopting her baby boy.

This blog is about life, love, parenting and my journey through cancer as I try to balance life as a working mom with three kids under three.
